Finding a balance …

I have a flaw. Well, actually I have many, but one thing I’m really bad about is when I discover something new, something shiny and exciting, I dive head-first into it and forget all about other things I was working on. Ok, maybe forget isn’t quite accurate, but pretty close. I’ve been spending so much time on “Asmo Harley” that I’ve been neglecting “Ely Harley.” What’s worse, I’ve been neglecting my duties as an officer in my legion — neglecting my friends.
After having several rather heated discussions with my BG and other officers in the legion, I was feeling a little put out. To be honest, it hurt … a lot. My feelings were hurt because I told myself that they were only angry because I’ve been playing “the other side” … but what I’ve realized is that what they were trying to point out (and to their credit, I am incredibly stubborn and you have to beat me over the head with something to get me to submit) was that I’d been neglecting more than the duties I’d promised to fulfill. I’d been neglecting the advancement of “my main.” And, most importantly, I’d been avoiding my friends. Not intentionally, of course, but still.
I love both my Harley’s. I’ve found that I love playing an Asmodian AND I love playing an Elyos. I’d spent nearly this entire time essentially ignoring the other half of “me.”
My new goal: to find some sort of balance between the two toons I love to play. I have only a limited amount of time to spend each night so it won’t be easy. My Ely is 55 and working on an eternal PVP set. My Asmo is 1/2 a bubble from 49 and is struggling to get for AP for a gold PVP set. It won’t be easy, but I like a challenge … and this now gives me something new to organize and fixate on. :)
My question to you, dear Daevas: Do you actively play a toon (or more) on both factions? Is it difficult for you to balance your time between them?

Playing chars on both sides would be hard. I don’t have time to play “with-full-attention” my other Asmo char, not to say Ely char…

55 glad elyos and ended up full time cleric because 2 pvp heavy toons was too much for me. They’re called mains for a reason I guess >

I can’t even manage to pay attention to two toons at once. I played Dead for the first time in a while tonight… Balance is hard.
