A family that plays together ...
… gets mad when you take their aggro. o.O This weekend I created a new toon to level up with one of my daughter’s toons. She has a chanter, so I created a glad. We were doing pretty well, until just after our ascensions. I got my Seismic Wave skill and decided to try it out while we were clearing through the first of our Verteron quests. It’s. So. Much. Aion 2.1 Part 2 hits tomorrow!
I’m excited. Can’t wait to see more crafting recipes. Can’t wait for “accelerated” crafting, essencetapping, and aethertapping. The true question is: What will I do first? And on which toon? ^_^

Assault on Balaurea box pets now available
I received my newsletter from NCsoft this afternoon. It covered most of the news already announced on the website in addition to this little gem: Starting today, pets that were previously only available by buying the Assault on Balaurea expansion are now on the Aion online store for purchase. Aion 2.1 Part 2 and 2.5 News
Wow I’m behind on this one. This update snuck past me somehow and I didn’t remember seeing it on the Aion website until this morning. o.O It seems that the “2.1 Part 2” update will be on the test servers this Thursday (Jan 20th) and is scheduled to go live Wednesday, January 26, 2011.
